“The Obsoletes” at Stories On Stage (Sacramento)

Had a wonderful evening at Sacramento’s Stories on Stage event, returning for my second time to read! Had the pleasure of giving voice to chapter one of Simeon Mills’ debut novel The Obsoletes, a sci-fi story about robotic brothers surviving fourth grade. My friend Carissa Meagher was the other featured reader and gave us a wonderful excerpt from Sharma Shields new novel The Cassandra. Incidentenally, Sharma and Simeon are married — talk about a power couple! Thanks to Sue and Peggi for the invitation back to Stories on Stage, hope to get to return again soon!
