New Comedies Festival at B Street Theatre

Last week I had the pleasure of working with a handful of incredible artists on a brand-spanking-new comedy written by playwright Peter Manos. As part of B Street’s 2019 New Comedies Festival, our team (under the direction of Artistic Director Buck Busfield) staged a minimalist version of “Golden”, a delightfully silly play with a whole bunch of heart. We rehearsed roughly 16 hours over the course of the week and presented the piece twice alongside three other incredible new works. All the plays were hilarious, so no doubt audiences will have a tough time voting for their favorite! Either way, with such great new works, the theatre wins all around…
